Lopez --- Sr. Rose of Holy Mary OCD, (Ellen V. Lopez), August 5, 2012. Beloved daughter of the late Anthony A. and Margaret (Galvin) Lopez. Loving sister of the late Major Anthony A. Lopez Jr. and his wife Margaret Lopez of Alexandria, VA, Theresa G. Aronson of Sudbury, Joseph E. Lopez and his wife Roseabel of Methuen, William H. Lopez and his wife Janine of Salem, NH, Michael Lopez and his wife Elizabeth of Lawrence. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Sr. Rose was a Discalced Carmelite nun for 52 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Carmelite Monastery on Wednesday August 8th from 2:00 – 4:00pm. A prayer service will be held at 3 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, 61 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Roxbury, on Thursday August 9th at 11:00 am.
