Lester Warren “Buddy” Pridgen, 41, of Phenix City, Alabama, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Prospect Baptist Church, Ben Hill County, Georgia, with Gary Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 Saturday evening.
Mr. Pridgen was born August 24, 1962, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to Jacqueline Joy Zenga and the late Vernon Eugene Pridgen. He lived in Phenix City, Alabama for the past five years and was owner/operator of a painting/contracting business. Mr. Pridgen was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Pridgen is survived by his wife: Irene M. Pridgen, Phenix City, AL; mother: Jacqueline Joy Zenga, Fort Mitchell, AL; step-mother: Jenelle Moore, Hahira, GA; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert M. and Carolyn Pridgen, Salem, AL; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Angela “Capt” and William Miles and Jennifer and Katerris Smith, all of Phenix City, AL and Renelle and Gary Hogan, Cecil, GA; two grandmothers: Hazel “Chief” Boddy, Fort Mitchell, AL and Leola Pridgen, Fitzgerald,GA. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
