BUCHANAN, Anita F., 88, of Louisville, passed away August 2, 2012.
She was a registered nurse and retired from Bradley and Summay PSC in the old Methodist Hospital. She was a graduate of Baptist Nursing School and St. Mary of the Woods University. She served in the Army during World War II as a cadet nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ellis and Norma Ruth (Heuser) Buchanan; and brothers, James, Bob, Harry, Doug and Dallas.
Anita is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including, Jean Jansen, Gail Thomas, Ruth Ann Staab, Beverly Pennington and Bobby, Gary, John and David Buchanan.
Her service will be graveside 12 Noon Monday at Cave Hill Cemetery. Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown entrusted with arrangements.
