Edwin J. Margarida, 54, of Westport died Tuesday, July 31, 2012. He was the son of Hilda (Cafofo) Margarida and the late Edwin S. Margarida.
Born in Fall River, Mr. Margarida was a lifelong resident of Westport. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI. Mr. Margarida was an automotive buff and videographer. He also enjoyed photography and scuba diving.
Memorial calling hours will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at10:00 A.M. at Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow, 266 Devils Foot Road, North Kingstown, RI.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
