Beverly: Yvonne B. (Laporte) Banville age 90 died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in her home, just three days short of her 91st birthday.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Corine (Tremblay) Laporte. A graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Yvonne went on to wark for many companies during her lifetime , ending with Varian Associates of Beverly. Yvonne was resident of Peabody for 40 years, and moved to Beverly 12 years ago.
Yvonne is survived by her brother, A. Henry Laporte and her sister, Jeanne C. Levesque, both of Beverly as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Morin & Theresa Turcotte and a brother, Arthur Laporte.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with her family on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers, to be followed by her funeral mass in the church at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
