Ilse Barbel Boyette, 63, of Tifton died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Father Earl Steffens will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. Faye Brannon, Sharon Petzel, Pat Walker, Mary Perlis, Polly Huff, Marlene Mathis, Donna Webb, Penny Peters, Lisa Kent and Nicole Durden will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012, immediately following the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Boyette was born on January 30, 1949 in Ulm, Germany and was the daughter of Paul Dufft and Hedwig Dufft, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Christl Windish. She was a dedicated registered nurse at Tift Regional Medical Center for over 20 years and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Tifton. She loved her work and her family and friends. She was an avid cyclist and hiker.
Mrs. Boyette is survived by her husband, Henry Eli Boyette of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Stephanie Boyette of Arizona and Jason and Kerrie Boyette of Suwannee; and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Tyler Boyette.
