Robert John "Bob" Schiller, age 65 of Salem, NH, died Friday at his home in Salem.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School, and graduated from Central Catholic in 1964. He later Graduated from Franklin Pierce College, and received his Masters in Education from Fitchburg State College. He was a resident of Salem for the past 37 years.
Mr. Schiller was a long time Administrator and Vocational Director for Whittier Vocational School. He also owned and operated Colonial Builders in Salem. Most recently Bob worked for Scottish Highlands Golf Course in Salem, NH.
Bob was a life member of the Lawrence Elks Lodge #65, and a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. He was a former president & member of the Salem Contractors Association. He enjoyed family gatherings, golf, fishing, & vacationing with his wife and family at Salisbury Beach. He loved classic old cars, the “Beatles”, boating, reading, fishing at his home at Newfound Lake, and Wintering for many years in Florida. He was an avid New England sports fan, but most of all Bob cherished his time with his granddaughter Charlotte Ava.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug 1st at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Salem. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 31st from4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem,
