Cleavie Maddox Hudson, 85, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Palemon Gaskin Nursing Home, Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Ocilla United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim Osborn officiating. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Hudson was born April 20, 1919, in Dodge County, Georgia to the late Walter and Lavonia Kitchens Maddox and was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Buddy” Hudson, two children, Charlene Hudson, David Wayne “Pete” Hudson, one sister and four brothers. She was a homemaker and lived in the community most of her life. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Ocilla United Methodist Church and the Methodist Guild. She was also a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by three children: Annelle H. Paulk, Linda Hudson and Harry Hudson, all of Ocilla; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
