Marilyn Ann Bosteels, 76, of Hudson, NH, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home in Hudson. She was born on May 26, 1936 in N. Reading, MA, a daughter of the late Phillip and Flora (Phelan) Geddes. She was raised and educated in Burlington, MA and was a graduate of Burlington High School. She was a resident of Hudson since 1979, formerly living in Tewksbury, MA. Mrs. Bosteels had a great sense of humor, and was known as a jokester. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, camping in her younger years, and loved her cat named "Peanut". But her greatest joy was the time spent with her family, especially her 16 grandchildren.
Mrs. Bosteels was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Bosteels in 1998. She is survived by five sons, Gary & Jan Bosteels of Litchfield, NH, Glenn & Lynne Bosteels of Londonderry, NH, Donald & Diane Bosteels of Merrimack, NH, Douglas & Andrea Bosteels of Londonderry, Daren & Melissa Bosteels of Allenstown, NH; four daughters, Lillian & Edward Lis of Manchester, NH, Lynda & Jon Briere and Laura & Christopher Dean, both of Hudson, and Holly & Marc Smith of Groton, MA; 16 grandchildren, Lisa, Amy, Andrew, Steffanie, Kelcy, Payge, Elizabeth, Alexia, Allyson, Brendon, Alysha, Matthew, Emily, Kyle, Justin, and Brieonna; as well as one sister, Carolyn Doucette of Londonderry.
Calling hours were held on Friday, July 27th from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 9:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hudson.
