OPAL (CLARK) WELCH ADKINS BRITE, 89, passed away on July 23, 2012.
She was a retired employee of Brown Forman Distillery and a member of Lees Lane Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hunter Welch, Audie Adkins, and William Brite and her sons, James, Billy and Terry Wayne Welch.
Survivors include her son, Audie Adkins III (Pam); grandchildren, Amy Adkins, Philip Adkins (Lynnae) and Rebecca Adkins; great grandchildren, Cade Hart, Alyssa and Autumn Adkins; her brothers, William and Jerry Clark; sister, Annie Haysley; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 – 8 p.m. Thursday.
