WESTFIELD: Dorothy Ann Paquette, 80, died peacefully under the care and comfort of her family on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her niece’s residence in Westfield following a period of declining health.
She was born in Newton on July 30, 1931 the daughter of the late Alcide Omer Paquette and Regina A. (Beaulieu) Paquette.
Dorothy is survived by her sister, Claire T. Keller of Westfield and the late Ernest and Earl Paquette, 3 nieces, 6 nephews and her beloved dog Toby that she rescued.
She spent her formative years in Newton and graduate from Newton High School with the Class of 1949. Dorothy received her BS from Boston College in 1973. She has a long and distinguished career of public service of over 30 years as a Computer Systems Analyst with the United States Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford. She was a loving sister and aunt to her family and adored her dog Toby.
Visitations will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Family and friends are requested to go directly to the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Ann’s Church, 124 Cochituate Rd (Rte 27) Wayland on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 am for her Mass of Christina Burial.
Interment will follow in the Paquette family lot in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests that memorial gifts in her memory may be sent to the animal rescue organization of the donor’s choice.
