Angela Kirsch Clary
Augusta, GA – Mrs. Angela Kirsch Clary, 99, went home to be with her Lord on July 21, 2012 at Trinity Hospital.
Her homegoing celebration will be in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. It will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. David Fiveash officiating.
She was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Angela was born February 6th, 1913 in Augusta, GA. She was the daughter of the late Nelly Landers Kirsch and Augustus Vincent Kirsch.
Angela was predeceased by her husband Charles (Chuck) Arthur Clary and brother Augustus Vincent (AV) Kirsch and by her sister Mrs. Joseph (Bernice) Armstrong of Augusta.
Her family members include three children, her loving daughter and devoted caregiver Mrs. Patricia Fiveash and husband David of Augusta; sons: Charles Arthur Clary, Jr. and wife (Thea) of Grovetown and David Kirsch Clary and wife Wendy of Grovetown; seven grandchildren: Mrs. Angela Duckworth, Mr. Chris Clary, Mr. Allen Clary, Ms. Jana B. Clary, Mrs. Haley McNeal, Mrs. Lacy Brantley and Mr. David K. Fiveash and eleven great grandchildren as well as three nieces and four nephews.
As a life long resident of Augusta, Angela stayed socially and physically active all of her life. She was a member of the Cross Country Horseback Riding Club and enjoyed riding her favorite horse “Sweetheart” in the local parades.
As a young girl she was trained in dance and as an adult became a dance assistant to Mrs. Henri Price at the YMCA on Greene Street and at the Henri Price Academy. She was active well into her 90’s, enjoying line dancing at the St. Mary senior center.
The Family is especially grateful to Angela’s caregivers: Thea Clary, Dianne Collins, Katherine Brown and Joyce McLester for all of the love and care they gave her.
Pallbearers will be her grandson’s and nephew’s.
