Worcester – Aline C. (Blondin) Fredette, 91, of Worcester, died peacefully on Saturday, July 21st with her family by her side in the Millbury Healthcare Center.
Aline was married to Donald R. Fredette who died in 1962. She is survived by two sons, Andrew J. Fredette and his wife Christine of Warren, MA and Dennis J. Fredette and his wife Debra of Alpharetta, GA; a sister Beatrice Taylor of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Fredette, Daniel Fredette, Stephanie Fredette, Stephanie Bridges, Natalie Waite, Todd Fredette, Julia Fredette and Samantha Blanchard; a former daughter in law, Susan Elliott of Oxford and several nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Fredette was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Clementine (Veroneau) Blondin and is predeceased by 5 brothers; Rudolph, Raoul, Leonel, Oscar and Roland Blondin; and two sisters, Rita Bousquet and Doris Allard.
Aline graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School in 1937 and worked for the College of the Holy Cross for 28 years and retired in 1991. She was a member of Saint Peter’s Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in Saint Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
