Mary D. Poremski, 87, died at the Golden Living Center of Plymouth on July 20. Wife of the late Stephen Poremski. Mother of Robert Hansen of Hampton, NH, Ellen Cronin of Exeter, NH, Elizabeth O’Brien of Amesbury, MA, Paul Poremski of Plymouth, MA, and
the late John Hansen. She also leaves a sister Winifred White of FL, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Dot, as she was known, was born in Lawrence, Ma the daughter of Joseph and Mary LaFond. She graduated from Lawrence High School, Dot worked for Lechmere in Danvers for many years. Formerly of Peabody, Dot retired to North Conway, NH and was a member of the North Conway Country Club. She was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed gardening.
A funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Kateri Parish, South Meadow Road in Plymouth on Tuesday July 24, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place before the mass at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A)N. Plymouth from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 311 Arsenal
Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Burial will be private at a later date.
