Wareham – Cecelia Moniz, age 88, formerly of Dartmouth, passed away at The Tremont Nursing Home in Wareham on Friday, July 20, 2012. Ms. Moniz was a sister of Agnes Da Costa of New Bedford. She was also the sister of the late Mary Souza, Elsie Allison and Leonilda Mattos. Cecelia is also survived by 3 nieces, 4 nephews, several great nieces and great nephews.
Ms. Moniz was a daughter of the late Maria (Angel) and Manuel J. Moniz. She was born in New Bedford, MA. and has lived in this area all of her life. Cecelia worked as an instrument cleaner at St. Lukes Hospital.
Ms. Moniz’s graveside services will be at St. John Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited.
