FRAMINGHAM: Warren G. Chaulk, 78, died peacefully under the care and comfort of his family on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at his Framingham residence following a brief illness.
He was born in Cambridge on April 9, 1934 the son of the late Willis N. Chaulk and Elizabeth (Stickley) Chaulk.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Marsha A. (Leahy) Chaulk of Framingham. Beloved father of Richard Chaulk, Kenneth Paul Chaulk, David Chaulk, Kathy Chaulk, Margaret Chaulk and Pamela Workman all of Raleigh, NC and Robin E. Chaulk of Framingham. Brother of Willis J. Chaulk and his wife Bonnie, Pauline E. Carlson, Jean L. Mugford and Dora Hughes and the late Arthur W. Chaulk. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Warren has been a resident of Framingham, for the past 33 years and previously resided in Natick. He served his country during the Korean War as a Corporal with the United States Marine Corps. For several years he was the owner of the School Street Chevron Gas Station in Framingham. For many years he was associated with the Chaulk Ambulance Service of Natick and later with AMR Ambulance, before his retirement.
At Warren’s request there will be no funeral home visitations.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Chaulk family lot in Glenwood Cemetery, 25 Glenwood St, South Natick.
In lieu of flowers his family suggests that memorial gifts in Warren’s memory may be sent to Wayside Hospice, 266 Cochituate Rd, Wayland, MA 01778. Warren’s family would like to especially thank Abby and Sandy, his nurses, who gave him wonderful care during his final days.
