Estelle J. (Ouellette) Geoffrion, 88, of Bedford died February 25, 2002 at Hanover Hill Nursing Home, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in Grand Isle, ME on December 11, 1913, she was the daughter of Severin and Louise (Lavoie) Ouellette. She was a graduate of Ft Kent Normal School in Ft. Kent, ME then lived in Lewiston, ME until 1939. She lived most of her life in Manchester.
Before and after raising her family, she worked as a teacher. She was a communicant of St. Jean the Baptist Church in Manchester.
She was married to Edgar Geoffrion who died in 1981.
The family includes five children, Pauline Sullivan of Manchester, David Geoffrion of Las Vegas, NV, Leo “Geoff” Geoffrion of Salem, Anne-Marie Sommer of Antrim and Norman Geoffrion, Hooksett; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Laura St. Pierre of Lewiston, ME; two nephews and one niece.
Calling hours were February 27, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated February 28, 2002 in St. John the Baptist Church of the Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
