Obituary

Fall River – Mary (Paulino) Holland, 70, of Robert Street, Westport died after a long illness at St. Anne’s Hospital on May 9, 2004. She was the widow of Edward F. Holland, Jr.

Mrs. Holland was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Paulino, and resided in Westport for the past 40 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was employed as a waitress at various area restaurants until her retirement.

Mrs. Holland was a member of the V.F.W. of Dartmouth Women’s Auxiliary and an avid bingo player.

Survivors include 4 daughters: Brenda M. Sousa of Dartmouth, Lynn Rapoza of Wakefield, NH, Susan A. Botelho of Somerset and Colleen R. May of Fall River; 3 sons: Alan M. Manchester of Westport, Kenneth Aguiar of Westport and Robert Holland of Providence, RI; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

She was sister of the late John Paulino and Olivia Paulino and mother of the late Raymond Augiar.

Calling hours Tuesday, May 11, 2004, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Funeral from the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Road, Westport, Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11:30 A.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
