June T. (Kane) Cucalon 78, of Holliston, died Wednesday July 11, 2012 at Tuffs New England Medical Center in Boston following an illness. She was the wife of the late Emilio L. Cucalon who died in 1988.
Born July 27, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York a daughter of the late William A. and Agnes (Carpenter) Kane she was a former resident of Franklin and Sharon before moving to Holliston.
She was raised and educated in Brooklyn and settled in the Massachusetts area in 1955. She worked many years as a broker for the Florence Kates Real Estate office in Sharon. Along with her late husband she owned and operated the Olde Marlborough Village Restaurant in Marlborough, MA.
June enjoyed painting, traveling, sci-fi, being involved in the newest technology, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Franklin Art Association and spent time with her friends at the Franklin Senior Center.
June is survived by her children: Theresa J. Souza of Stoughton, Richard S. Cucalon & Christine A. Drago both of Franklin, and a sister Eileen Kane-Kravetsky of Bloomfield, New Jersey.
She was the sister of the late William Kane & Agnes Lindgren.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Christy L. Niethold-Holt, Patrick S. Niethold, Emily A. Cucalon, Allison M. Cucalon and a great granddaughter Mackenzie E. Niethold.

Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
