Retired Tewksbury Nurse
TEWKSBURY: Margaret I. (Robinson) Brand, R.N., age 77, a resident of Tewksbury for over 40 years, recently of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Willow Manor in Lowell.
She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late James Brand, who passed away on January 20, 2007.
Born in Kearny, NJ on April 20, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Samuel T. Robinson and the late Susan (Mitchell) Robinson.
Margaret was raised in Union Beach, NJ. She later moved to Keyport, NJ, and was graduated from Keyport High School.
Following graduation, she attended Monmouth University in New Jersey, where she received her degree in Nursing.
She resided in Keyport, NJ until moving to Tewksbury in 1971.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Nurse by the former Casa Grande Nursing Home (Blaire House) in Tewksbury.
Margaret is survived by two sons, James Brand, Jr. and his wife Monique of North Ft. Myers, FL and Kevin Brand of Winchendon, MA; four grandchildren, Jeremy and Phillip Brand, and Amy and Melissa Akin; five grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan and Cameron Brand, and Leah and Anthony Akin; one brother, Samuel R. Robinson of Seattle, WA; also many nieces and nephews.
