Mary E. (Scarry) Connolly 99, of Natick died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Connolly who died in 1982.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Josephine (Neary) Scarry.
Mrs Connolly was a teacher for 28 years at Natick High School and later at Wilson Junior High.
She was a volunteer at Leonard Morse Hospital and the Natick Service Council.
Mrs Connolly attended the Natick School system graduating from Natick High School in 1930 and and graduated from Regis College in 1934.
She is survived by two sons , John Connolly and his wife Carolyn of Framingham, Mark Connolly and his wife Yoko of Natick, two grandchildren Brian Connolly of Rhode Island, Sarah Tibbetts and her husband Justin of Milford, and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, July 16 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
