EDNA FOLGER
Edna F. Folger (Driscoll) of Melrose, passed away on Sunday February 24, 2002 at the Apple Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 81 years of age.
Born in Everett, Mrs. Folger was a resident of Melrose for over 50 years.
Edna was a former member of the Democratic Committee in Melrose. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Her family was first and foremost in her life.
Mrs. Folger was the beloved wife of the late William J. Folger. She was the devoted mother of Ann Rice of Stoneham, Thomas Folger of Stoneham, Peter Folger of Groton, and Eileen Dineen of Maine. Cherished grandmother of Lynn, Abby, Kathleen, and Danny
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend an hour of visitation Thursday morning February 28 8:30-9:30am at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. Stoneham, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.
