Roger Dean Bickle, 74, of Clarksville, TN, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 25, 1937 in Wisconsin to the late Harry Bickle and Edna Lanzil.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, KY. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 2-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Roger was an U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a correctional officer for the Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was a member of VFW Post 4895.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Brown Bickle of Clarksville, TN; son, Michael Christianson of Texas; two daughters, Arlean (Carl) Clarkson of Indiana and Deanna (Billy) Rittenberry of Clarksville, TN; two sisters, Bernie (Jere) Sairs of Wisconsin and Marian Bright of Florida; two grandchildren, Christopher (Tammy) Vickers and Nathaniel (Rachel) Clarkson; and three grandchildren, Riley Clarkson, Hannah Vickers, and Jessica Vickers.
Pallbearers will be Carl Clarkson, Nathan Clarkson, Chris Vickers, Jimmy Ketner, Joe Patterson, Daryl Johnson, Rick Pursley, and Joseph Houle.
