Obituary

Richard E. Clark, 84, passed away Monday July 9, 2012 at the Robley Rex V. A. Medical Center.

He was born in Bowling Green, KY to Lannis P. & Flora (Horton) Clark.

Richard was a retired Truck Driver for Mutual Manufacturing and had been a member of Teamsters Local #89 for over 40 years. He also had been a "Greeter" at Wal-Mart.

He was a WW II Navy Seabee Veteran, a proud member of Valley Station Church of Christ, a Kentucky Colonel, American Legion, V.F.W. and a charter member of the Valley Station Business Association.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Step-Mother: Mildred Clark; a brother: Lt. Col. Lester E. Clark and Lester's wife Helen Clark.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Helen K. Clark; his Daughters: Connie Bowlin (Eddie) and Danette Green (Tony); 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Gladys Barth (Carl) & Shirley Coker (Charles); 14
nephews & nieces and his beloved Shelty, "Lady".

Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial to follow in
Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation will be Friday 3 - 8 PM.
