Julio M. Barbosa, 31, of New Bedford died July 6, 2012.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Arminda M. (Monteiro) Barbosa of New Bedford and the late Julio C. Barbosa, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was employed as a barber.
Julio had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh.
Survivors include his mother; his girlfriend, Jillian Poeira of New Bedford, who is pregnant with his unborn child; a son, Justice Barbosa of New Bedford; a sister, Nancy Barbosa of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, July 10th from 5-8 PM.
