Mary Lou (Peloquin) Sampson, 84, of Westport passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Sampson.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Raymond and Margorie (Freeman) Peloquin, she had lived in Westport for most of her life. Mary Lou attended business school which aided her later as the wife and partner of her husband in the management of Sampson Potato Farms of Westport.
She leaves behind 2 sons: Henry “Jeff” Sampson of Westport and Stephen “Jerome” Sampson of Dartmouth; 2 daughters: Dr. Laurie Ann McCreery and April Wordell Sampson both of OH; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was mother of the late Marjorie Alice Parmenter and sister of the late Raymond and Charles Peloquin.
A graveside service for relatives and friends will be held at the Wordell Family Cemetery, Westport on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
