FRANKLIN—Katherine C. (Wyndham) Brumbaugh 70, of Franklin, died peacefully Friday July 6, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Wayne R. Brumbaugh.
Born December 9, 1941 in Boston a daughter of the late Martin and Katherine (Mulkern) Wyndham, she was a resident of Franklin since 1976 and was a former resident of Dedham.
She was raised and educated in Dedham, and worked as the health care coordinator for the Visiting Nurses Association of Milford, until her retirement.
Katherine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
In addition to her husband of 44 years she is survived by 6 sons: Mark A. Brumbaugh and his wife Stacy of Virginia, Wayne R. Brumbaugh and his wife Sue of Norfolk, John D. Brumbaugh and his companion Ryanna Dorcey of Bellingham, Paul M. of Franklin, James P. of Bellingham, & Kenneth L. Brumbaugh of Franklin, a daughter Maureen E. Brumbaugh and her companion Christopher McKenna of Pawtucket, RI., 2 brothers Martin Wyndham of Stoughton, Jack Wyndham of El Paso, TX, and a sister Margaret Guarnotta of Plymouth.
She was the sister of the late Mary Kelleher.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Timothy Maclone, Devon & Megan McKenna, Kaylee Brumbaugh, Jessica & Samantha Phillips, and Alex & Alanna Brumbaugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday July 10th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
