Wilfrid E. Dore, 81, of Dracut died peacefully at his residence Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
He was born and educated in Lawrence schools and has been a Dracut resident for over 50 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel at St. Theresa's Church and was a long time member of Cedardale at Haverhill. He was married for over 45 years to his late wife Doris (Brousseau) Dore until her death in 2001.
Wilfrid lived an active and independent life and his greatest joy was having his family around him.
He leaves a son John and his wife Patti Dore of Methuen; a brother Raymond Dore of Methuen; one sister Theresa Dore of Lowell; four grandchildren Nicholas, Danielle, James, and Paul Dore all of Methuen; three great grandsons, as well as his longtime companion Elaine Juskevicus of Nashua; and his late brother Robert Dore.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish at St. Theresa's Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen, MA, for a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 11, at 10:00 A.M.
