Daniel D. Palazzini 74, of Cranston died Tuesday July 3 in Landmark Medical Center. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Augustus and Melina (Laliberte) Palazzini. Mr. Palazzini was a glazier for the City of Cranston for many years retiring in 1999. He was also a Pawtuxet Valley volunteer fireman from the age of eighteen and retired as a 2nd Lieutenant. He also served in the RI National Guard.
Mr. Palazzini was the beloved "Uncle Sid" to twenty-five nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews, and enjoyed spending time with all of them. In addition to his nieces and nephews, he is survived by three sisters; Florence Concannon of Manville, Alice Palazzini of Albuquerque, NM, and Louise Drolet of Manville.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. James Church, Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Monday 5-7PM.
