TEWKSBURY - Edward “Teddy” Waterman, 56, died Sunday evening, Feb. 24, at the NewEngland Medical Center in Boston.
He was born in Boston, Nov. 23, 1945, a son of Mary “Dot” (Kinsley) Waterman of Tewksbury,and the late Edward F. Waterman.
He resided in Somerville before moving to Tewksbury in1954, where he was a communicant of St. William’s Church.
Since birth, “Teddy” has overcome numerous disabilities and challenges, and was loved by allwho knew him. Although he struggled in everyday activities he had a remarkable recall of musicand television details and trivia.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Francis M. and his wifeDorothy (Sicard) Waterman of Pepperell, William Waterman of Tewksbury, one sister, Lee A.Waterman of Tewksbury, seven nieces and nephews, Francis M. Waterman Jr., Brian Watermanand Daniel Waterman all of Pepperell, Kelly Waterman of Townsend, Jennifer Parsons of AZ,Katie Waterman and William E. Waterman both of Tewksbury, and many aunts, uncles, cousins,and neighborhood friends.
His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, at 10:00 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351Main St. (Rte 38) Tewksbury. Visiting hours Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeralhome. Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
