Mary E. (Murray) Healy, 93, formerly of 201 Grove St, Manchester, NH died May 6th, 2004 at a local health care facility after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester, NH on February 16, 1911, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Murley) Murray. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed in the Assessors Office for the City of Manchester for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anne Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J. “Doodie” Healy Sr. in 1994.
Members of her family include three sons, John J. Healy Jr. of Goffstown, Robert A. Healy of Bedford, and James Healy of Scarborough, ME; Two daughters, Anne Janas of Portland, ME and Mary Kilrain of Manchester; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Anne/St. Augustin Church, corner of Beech and Spruce St, on Saturday May 8, 2004. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
