David Gerald Diersing, 66, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was a retired Labor Market Analyst / Manager for the State of Kentucky, an Army veteran during the Vietnam Era and Methodist by faith. He had several memberships including; Pleasure Ridge Park Masonic Lodge # 959, Louisville Rifle & Revolver Club and Knob Creek Gun Range. He is survived by his brothers Arthur Diersing (Barbara), Paul Diersing (Mary Ann), sister Caroline Martin (Bill), and nieces and nephew ; Todd, Mellissa, Emily and Madelyn Diersing. His funeral will be Saturday 10:30 am at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2pm to 8pm and after 9am on Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kosair Charities or the Masonic Home.
