Beloved mother of Kathleen DiPanfilo and her husband Ronald of Everett and James Costello and his wife Dorothy of Reading. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Scoppettuolo and her husband Antonio, Daniel, Kristine and Caroline Costello and great grandmother of Nicholas and Arianna Scoppettuolo. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday, July 9th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Born and raised in Chelsea and a lifelong resident, at 94 years of age, Lucy passed away at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford after a brief illness. A former member of the St. Rose Mother's Club, in her early years she worked at her families shoe factory in the North End of Boston and later at Forbes Lithograph.
