John Robert St. Martin, 59, of Franklin died July 3 in Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Patricia F. (Foley) St. Martin.
Born in Boston, September 8, 1952, the son of the late Edwin and Marie (Cristadoro) St. Martin and stepson of the late Michael Feehily, Mr. St. Martin was raised in the Hyde Park section of Boston and had lived in Franklin for the past 16 years.
Mr. St. Martin was a graduate of The Boston Latin School, Harvard University and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
Mr. St. Martin had been the benefits manager for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for many years.
John had been an active member of St. Mary’s Church. He had served on the parish council, taught CCD and had been a Eucharistic minister.
He enjoyed performing in community theatre and playing golf.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Gregory St. Martin and his wife Emily of Newton, Laura Weinberg and her husband Scott of Mansfield and William St. Martin of Washington D.C.
He is also survived by his brothers, Edwin St. Martin of Foxboro, The Rev. Jack Feehily of Oklahoma, Paul Feehily of West Roxbury, Michael Feehily of Quincy and Gerald Feehily of Norwood.
He was the brother of the late Paul St. Martin.
He is also survived by his uncle Louis “Gigi” and aunt Josephine “Jay” Cristadoro of Hingham.
He is also survived by his granddaughter Leighton.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 9 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin.
