PEABODY- Phyllis E. (Muise) Watson White, 73, wife of Raymond T. White, of Peabody, died Monday morning, February 25, 2002, in the Salem Hospital following a short illness. She was also the wife of the late George F. Watson, Jr.
Born in Swampscott, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. And Margaret (Golden) Muise.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the office of the Hunt Memorial Hospital in Danvers for many years.
Mrs White was a resident of Peabody for over 20 years and previously lived in Danvers for many years. She was a member and past president of the former Salem Lancers Square Dancers, and for the past five years, she was a member of the Salem Hospital Stroke Club.
Besides her husband, with whom she shared twenty-two years of marriage, she is survived by one son, Paul Watson of Brockton and two grandchildren, Lynn Watson and Michael Watson. She also leaves her husband Raymond’s daughters, Betsy and her husband Alfred “Butch” Ouellette of Danvers, Peggy and her husband Stephen Schevis of Peabody, their families and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Ames.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 9:30 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
