Helen E. Sumner (Yeomans) passed away at the Norwood Hospital on July 3rd, she was 87. Born and raised in Canton, Helen graduated from Canton High School. After devoting her time to raising her four children Mrs. Sumner worked as a secretary at the family owned business Sumner & Dunbar in Canton. Helen enjoyed gardening, loved going out to eat and spending time with her lifelong friends Eleanor Murphy & Ethel Milligan. Beloved wife of the late Larra T. Loving mother of Larra T. III & his wife Jeannie of Duxbury, Susan L. of Canton & Debby DiBiasio & her husband Dennis of Canton and the late James T. Also survived by her sister Lillian Turchiano & her husband Joseph, her brother Arthur “Sonny” Yeomans all of FL., her 8 grandchildren, her great-granddaughter and her lifelong friends Eleanor Murphy & Ethel Milligan. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton on Thurs from 5-8 pm. Friends and relatives respectfully invited to attend a funeral service at The United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St. Canton on Friday morning at 11. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
