Elmer L. “Al” Donahue, 85 of Medford died Monday at home after a brief illness.
Born in Winslow, Maine, he lived in Medford for the past 25 years and formerly of Somerville. Al was the son of the late James and Catherine (Dancause) Donahue. He was a Machinist employed by Raytheon for 30 years and retired in 1984.
Mr. Donahue was a member of the Andover Elks Lodge #2198 and former member of the Knights of Columbus. Al was very active in sports and loved bowling, fishing and horseshoes.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (MacArthur). Devoted father of Catherine Bizier and her husband Carl of North Andover, Dorothy Byrne and her husband George of Dracut. Loving grandfather of Sherry, Michael, Denise, Debbie, Kelly, and Karen. Loving great grandfather of David, Kristin, Shannon, Matthew, Mikey, Krystal, Danny, Robbie, Joey, Ryan, Meghan, and Kevin.
A memorial service will conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, MAY 10, Monday at 1:00 pm.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
