Maria Louisa (Carreiro) Pimentel, age 72 of Fall River, passed away on June 28, 2012. She was the wife of the late Jose Teves Pimentel. Born in Fazenda De Nordeste, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Jose Almeida Carreiro & Teresa Soares (Almeida) Carreiro. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Pimentel worked as a machine operator for Santoro Mfg. and was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
She is survived by her children: Guida Almeida (husband Joe), Helena Pimentel (companion Michael Aguiar), Carlos Pimentel (wife Laura), Elizabeth Pimentel (wife Taylor), Ricardo Pimentel (wife Terri Keyes) all of Fall River, & the late Luis Pimentel; siblings: Carlos Carreiro of Fall River, Ligia Bettencourt of Somerset, Gilberta Cabral of Fall River; grandchildren: Jessica, Joey, Joshua, Brittany, Skyla, Tyler, & the late Alexandra Keyes; 2 great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on MONDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Note Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on SUNDAY from 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
