Sara Alice Scott, age 93, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012, at home following an extended illness. Ms. Scott was born on September 19, 1918, in Thomasville, GA to the late Charlie M. Clark and Carolyn Elizabeth Thomas Clark.
Survivors include: her son, Thomas (Paula) Scott, of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, Carolyn Scott (Eddie) Chaney, of Douglas, GA and Thomas Clark (Jennifer) Scott, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL; three great grandchildren, Caitlin Chaney, Kala Scott, and Garrett Scott. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Clifford Scott, four sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens.
