Obituary

SHREWSBURY – Mrs. Ann M. “Nina” (Maffeo) Bianco, 97, passed away Friday June 22nd at the Holy Trinity Nursing Home with her family by her side.

Ann is survived by a son, John G. Bianco and his wife Beverly of Holden ; two daughters, Geraldine M. Delage and her husband Ronald of Worcester, Lola Peterson of Worcester;; two brothers, Eugene Albrizioand his wife Rose of Shrewsbury, and Americo Albrizio of Florida; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews

Ann was predeceased by a daughter, Marie A. Curry; a son, Michael Bianco, her sister, Mary A. Trippi, a brother, Joseph Albrizio, her step father, Michael Albrizio, and a son in law, Robert Peterson Jr.

Ann was born May 7, 1915 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Vincent and Lola(Didino) Maffeo. Loving wife to the late Gerald J. Bianco.

A lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved being with her family, cooking and entertaining at her home.

Ann was an avid piano player, reader, swimmer, and walker. She was a parishoner of St Anne’s Parish in Shrewsbury.

The Bianco family wishes to thank the staff at the Holy Trinity Rehab and Nursing Home for the professionalism, care and dedication to our mom.

Her funeral mass will be held Tuesday June 26th at 10:00a.m. at St Anne’s Church in Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. THERE WILL BE NO VISTING HOURS. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Holy Trinity Nursing Home, 300 Barber St. Worcester, Ma. 01606.
