Eileen (MacIntosh) Capobianco formerly of Natick, died Sunday June 24, 2012 at her home in Westborough.
Eileen is survived by her husband, Dr. Anthony Capobianco of Westborough and her four sons and their spouses: David and Kim Capobianco of Holliston; Jack Capobianco and Jennifer Michel Capobianco of Mendon; Paul Capobianco and Karen Lindsay of Dedham; James and Rachel Capobianco of Colchester, VT. She is also survived by her six grandsons: Andrew Capobianco; Grady Capobianco; Connor Capobianco; Hunter Capobianco; Tucker Capobianco; Max Lindsay-Capobianco. Her surviving siblings: Charles MacIntosh of Prince Edward Island; Frank MacIntosh, Vivian Winsor and Ann MacIntosh, all of Nova Scotia. Eileen had a multitude of nieces and nephews in the U.S. as well as throughout Canada.
She is remembered as a loving soul, with relentless energy to better this world, an unwavering dedication to serving others and one who spread cheer to all those she encountered in life.
Eileen was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and grew up in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. After high school, she graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. She married Anthony (Tony) in 1955 and lived in Natick raising their four boys from 1959 to 1995. Eileen served the Leonard Morse Hospital Aid Association faithfully for decades as well as many other local, civic organizations including food pantries throughout greater Boston communities. She also spent time in Falmouth, MA and Naples, FL where she spread her dedication to friendships and food pantries. Even with so many friendships that reach around the globe and giving her time and energies to anyone in need, she was devoted to her family. She was our anchor, our wings and our guide through life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday June 27, at 9:45 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street ,at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main Street, Northborough. A reception will follow the Mass in the downstairs hall of the Church. Private burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
