Dorothy M. (Ceruti )Margolis, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly in Brockton on Thursday June 21, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 71 years old and the beloved wife of the late Howard “ Heshie” Margolis. Mrs. Margolis is survived by her loving children, Mark E. Margolis of Brockton, Stephen “ TAZ “ Margolis of Stoughton and Kim R. Margolis also of Stoughton. She was also the cherished “NANA” of her only grandchild, her granddaughter Nicole Margolis also of Stoughton. Other survivors include her brother Richard Ceruti and his wife Ginny of Walpole and several nieces and nephews.
Born on October 16, 1940 in Walpole, Massachusetts she was a daughter to the late Alfred and Mary (DeSavage) Ceruti. Dorothy attended Walpole Public Schools and was a graduate of Walpole High School. She was a self-employed Medical Sales Agent for many years. She also enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 25, 2012 from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Deacon Patrick Guerrini officiating. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
