Regina M. "Reggie - Genie" (Nerney) Carrien, 65, a life-long resident of North Andover, passed away on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 at her home.
She was born on May 12th, 1947 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late James F. and Katherine D. (Murphy) Nerney. She was educated at Saint Patrick's Grammar School and in fourth grade she moved to North Andover where she attended Saint Michael's School and was a graduate of the High School. Regina later attended the Lawrence General Hospital Nursing School where she received her Degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover, MA., for over 30 years. Regina was a parishioner of Saint Michael's Church in North Andover, Massachusetts.
According to her children she loved the Beach and enjoyed sitting in her yard. Most of all she especially loved to spend time with her granddaughter Jessica. She had a huge heart and would never say "No" to helping people in need. Regina would love to watch the soap opera "Days of Our Lives".

Sister of the late: James F. "Jay" Nerney, who passed away in 1991 and Aunt to the late Claire Ann Gravel who passed away in 1986.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, June 26th, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA.
