In San Diego, CA, June 18, 2012 James F. Murray husband of the late Paula (McGuire) Murray and Nancy White died at San Diego Hospice at the age of 82. Born in Taunton, James was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (McCusker) Murray. Jimmy was a graduate of Coyle High School class of 1949 and Stonehill College in Easton class of 1955. Jimmy worked as a salesman for United Liquors in Fairhaven. He was a member of the Taunton Lodge of Elks and enjoyed golfing and will miss all his friends at the former Fitzy’s Pub in Plainville. Jimmy was the father of Jamie Murray of San Diego, CA, Scott Murray of San Diego, CA, Allison Bennett of Rhinebeck, NY and step father of Merideth McGregor of NY, NY. He was the brother of the late Alice Roaen, Joseph Murray, Lillian Slusack and Jack Murray. Grandfather of six grandchildren. A funeral will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Monday, June 25th at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Ann’s church in Raynham at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in James memory may be made to San Diego Hospice, 4311 3rd Ave, San Diego, CA, 92103.
