Johnnie Cecil Lee, age 84, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Lee was born on August 21, 1927, in Waycross, GA to the late John Newton Lee and Americus Avadell Carter Lee.
Survivors include: his son, John David (Judy) Lee, of Douglas, GA; two sisters, Cecilia Cravey, of Albany, GA and Nellie Davis, of Nicholls, GA; three grandchildren, Katie Leon, John David Lee, Jr., and Nicholas Wright. He is preceded in death by four sisters Verna Mae Rowell, Betty Gaskins, Polly Joiner, and Marie Carter and three brothers Warnie Lee, Cleotis Lee and Bunyon Lee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Lone Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Ann Braswell officiating. Interment followed at the Lone Hill Church Cemetery.
