LEICESTER: Mary Elizabeth (Conlee) Boissel 74, of Bunker Hill Road, died Tuesday, June 19 surrounded by her family at home.
She leaves her husband of 56 years Donald I. Boissel, her three daughters Rebecca Benoit and her husband David of Suffolk, Va., Debra Rigiero and her husband Frank of Leicester and Donna Cataldo and her husband Rockwood of Auburn, her brothers Bernard Conlee of Hainesport, N.J, and Thomas Conlee of Orlando, FL., her sister Treva Bowen of Zephyrhills, Fl., eight grand children Elizabeth Voellings and her husband Eric, Steven Benoit and his wife Cara, Joseph Rigiero, Michael Rigierio, Rockwood Cataldo, Cassandra Cataldo, Marissa Cataldo and Alex Cataldo, five great grand children, several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Concordia, Kansas the daughter of Bernard and Ruth (Richard) Conlee and was raised in Whitinsville before settling in Leicester. She graduated from Northbridge High School. Beth was employed by several local businesses as an office clerk and retired from Sears Corp. as a sales associate.
Beth was an avid gardener and enjoyed her butterfly garden. She was a member of the Leicester Garden Club and volunteered at the Mass. Audubon Conservation and Wildlife Sanctuary at Broad Meadow Brook. She also belonged to the Leicester Historical Society and Leicester Library Book Club. She was a member of St.Pius X Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed her involvement and volunteerism in the Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank Overlook VNA & Hospice for their exceptional care given Beth prior to her passing.
Beth’s funeral will be held on Saturday, June 23 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Friday, June 22 from 5 to 7p.m.
