GLOUCESTER: Steven H. Moore, 59, died Monday evening, June 18, 2012 in the Golden Living Center, following an extended illness.
Born in Gloucester on July 8, 1952, he was the son of Phyllis F. (Orlando) Moore and the late Norman A. Moore. He had attended Gloucester public schools.
Steve had been employed at numerous companies along the Gloucester waterfront. He later worked for Waste Management for several years. He enjoyed woodcarving and following the Boston Red Sox and N.E. Patriots. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his uncle, Charles “Lucky” Orlando and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Joseph “Billy” Moore and Norman A. Moore.
In keeping with his wishes, his committal service will be held privately.
