Donald E. McKinnon (77) died June 17th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Katherine E. (Longden).
Mr. McKinnon was born in Waltham son of the late Charles and Florence (Shea) McKinnon. He was a mail carrier for the Wellesley Hills Post Office. Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Air Force. Donald enjoyed fishing and reading and was Associate Pastor of the former Gospel Center in Brockton.
Survivors include a son Donald J. and his wife Natalie McKinnon of Taunton, 1 daughter Regina Duzart of Louisiana, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Arthur of Waltham, John of Maine and Roger McKinnon of NH. He was also father of the late John. W McKinnon.
Following Cremation a Memorial Service will be celebrated in the Meeting House Church, 239 Broadway St. Taunton at a time to be announced. Interment of cremated remains to follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
