Domenico R. Morra, 91, of New Bedford died June 18, 2012 at Sacred Heart Home.
He was the husband of the late Teresa C. (Dumas) Morra.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Rocco and Elizabeth Morra, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed by Almacs Supermarket.
Mr. Morra served in the U.S. Army during World War II, participating in the battle of Rome-Arno. He was a recipient of the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater campaign ribbon, the Good Conduct medal and the World War II Victory medal.
Survivors include 2 sons, Richard R. Morra and Steven A. Morra, both of New Bedford; a brother, Nicholas Morra of New Bedford; and a granddaughter, Ashley Morra.
He was the brother of the late Rocco "Rocky" Morra.
His funeral arrangements will be private.
