Esther T. Petroni, 90, of East Walpole died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Norwood Hospital.
Born on June 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Gemma (DiCicco) Petroni.
Miss Petroni was a lifelong resident of East Walpole and graduated from Walpole High School in 1940.
Before her retirement, she worked at Plymouth Rubber Co. in Canton for over 50 years.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ninnette Grusheski and Betty Petroni, both of East Walpole, a sister–in-law Mary Conti Petroni of East Walpole, a brother-in-law Peter Connolly of Norwood and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Sally Petroni and Rita Connolly and a brother Lili Domenic Petroni.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 22 from 7:45 – 8:30 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
